Help! Is my rising Senior behind on college planning?

It’s the summer and you’ve got a rising senior. Up to this point, you’ve been putting off thinking about college too much… it’s been busy!

So what do you do now? Are you behind?

Is it too late to start thinking about college?

The answer, thank goodness, is no. But! Start now, or you will be behind.

Use the summer to do as much college research as you can. Do some job shadowing. Take the ACTs. Work on your essays. And then, do more college research and job shadowing.

when should i begin college planning?
Seniors beginning their college search at College Liftoff!

If you’re busy, or lost on where to start, drop us a line and we’ll help you out.

We can offer some free advice, and we can also help your student achieve their goals. We work one-on-one with each of our students on career development.

We spend 40 hours or more working on this through one-on-one counseling, research, job shadowing, and more.

Simultaneously, we work with them on their college essays (again, one-one-one–so it’s highly personalized!). Then we help them narrow down their school choices so they can complete their applications.

From there, we work on securing the best financial plans and deals for both your student and your family.

Another thing–we encourage all of our students to meet all the Early Action deadlines. Note: Early Action is different from early Decision.

If you have any questions about what your senior should be doing at any point, send us a note or give us a call at 614-329-6633.
