Every college has it’s strengths and weaknesses. That’s why our work at College Liftoff is 100% personalized to your student. A college or university that has the right programs for one student might not for the next.
When it comes to theater, Westerville’s very own Otterbein University has a lot going for it. It’s an extremely rigorous and strong program, and if you’ve ever seen a show at Otterbein you’d see why.
Lately, some Otterbein theater grads have been making news in a big way. Recent grad Jordan Donica has made headlines for his work on Broadway–most notably as the first African American to play leads in both “My Fair Lady” and “Phantom of the Opera” in New York.
And 2009 grad (and Hilliard native) Cory Michael Smith is making waves on the screen. He appears with Ryan Gosling in the recently released “First Man,” a movie about Neil Armstrong’s space program, and as the Riddler in TV’s “Gotham.”
So if you’re looking for some things to do with the family in the coming months, definitely check out Otterbein’s show schedule. You never know–you might be watching a future celebrity on stage!
